Are you looking for a new bike?
Thinking of buying a new bicycle? One of your first choices, and not necessarily an easy one, will be where to shop. It can be a challenge because there are several stores that carry two-wheelers, from specialty retailers, to giant department stores. Where you buy, however, has everything to do with what you get. Bicycles aren't like tv's or other appliances you may purchase at a store. Bikes are shipped in boxes and they must be assembled and tuned. Measurements and adjustments are required to ensure the frame is the correct size, and the seat and handlebars are properly positioned. And every new bicycle will need a minor tune-up after several weeks of use.
What's more, modern road and mountain bikes can travel at high speeds and carry you over demanding terrain where the machine's materials and construction get tested. A quality two-wheeler, carefully assembled and fit to you, will be the safest, most durable and fun bicycle to ride. Let us help you find the perfect ride.

The Importance of Pedaling Technique
If your primary goal is improving performance, then you should strongly consider a session on our Computrainer in addition to a bike fit. While the proper fit will increase your riding efficiency, an improved pedaling technique will only enhance it.
SpinScan™ Pedal Stroke Analyzer is an exclusive CompuTrainer feature that helps you increase power and efficiency. The ATA (Average Torque Angle) displayed on the Polar Graph allows you to see the actual efficiency of your pedal stroke. The multicolor torque graph represents one full 360 degree revolution divided into 15 segments. The left and right leg percentage power splits give you the feedback needed to pedal in "circles". It will identify "flat" or "dead" spots in the pedal stoke where optimal power is not transferred to the drive train. This real-time feedback helps you to gain the muscular feel of an efficient pedaling motion. By practicing specific drills, you will start to achieve that muscle memory and become faster, increasing your power by as much as 20-30% and speed by 2-4mph.

Among other measures, the CompuTrainer measures your instant/average/peak, watts, cadence, heart rate, calories, and speed plus distance. We may also configure the trainer in race mode against the computer, during this mode, lead, lap time, finish time are calculated.

Monitor your progress Cycling is more than just pedaling, although that is important. What is important to understand is that cycling correctly involves the synchronized movement of serveral different body parts. From your mind, to your head to your core, legs and then to your feet. To much movement in one place or too little in another decreases efficiency ( which makes you work harder) and may lead to injury. With video analysis software, we will watch you cycle at your normal training pace, and in your racing position to give you feedback about form and fit.
